About the Project: "Hope Can't Walk" is a compilation put together with everyone in mind. Whether you are disabled or connected to someone with disabilities, this album has a message for you. To the disabled - you're not forgotten, and to everyone else - pay attention.
Our desire for this album is that it will break the proverbial ice and open up some dialogue about disabilities. "Handicapped" is not a dirty word - deaf, blind, crippled, autistic, etc. We are all human, and these bodies aren't perfect anyway.
We're all in the same boat, and we need to paddle together... even though some of our arms don't work (mine included)... Anyway, you get the picture! The artists on this compilation say it much better than I can. So download, listen, enjoy, and pass along the good news to others - that hope is not conditional upon abilities (or disabilities, for that matter). Or, as we like to say - hope can't walk!
